Bree Nieves (b. Oklahoma) is Pacific Islander Filipina and Afro Puerto-Rican creative. 

She is a producer with a demonstrated history in documentary, storytelling and filmmaking. As a documentary and fiction filmmaker her work addresses motifs of gender, catholic faith and ritual, southern culture, and the asian and black diaspora in the United States. She is a 2022 Sundance Institute Uprise Grantee and a 2021 Center For Asian American Media Fellow. She has most recently worked at CNN as a Field Producer, at VICE WORLD NEWS as a Producer, and in Coordination at HULU on the Documentary and Unscripted Originals Team.
